Here is a new application coming up from danstaface (the same people from the Ringtones app). Actually, they are working on two projects. The first, iToday, visualizes information on the “locked” screen over an animated background, while the second one is shown in the video: it is an extension of iToday, allowing you to loop a video in the Springboard instead of a static desktop image. These guys are really great, because working on Springboard is quite complex. For sure, battery life will suffer from this, but it’s a very cool innovation. the application shown in the video will be available only after iToday will be out, so it will still take a while.
