iFoneTec has made a new Ringtone concept, VideosTone an application that would let any video play as part of a ringtone. This application is going to allows us to assign a video to our contacts, when the contact calls the video will play

The developer said that most of the 1.1* firmwares are supported 2.0 is in development

How to put your customize video:
use ssh ftp client to upload your video file to /var/mobile/Media/VideoTone/Video/ directory.And VideosTone will recognition it.
This application is Free, but the advance features are only activated when you paid for them, to install this application you need to add the iFonTec source

GoodCalculator is a new application for the Phone/iPod Touch. This is really similar calculator interface, that can be found in the new 2.0 firmware version. What makes this Calculator unique is that it adds a “%” and “<–” (backspace) button that deletes the last digit enter. GoodCalculator can be found in the “Productivity” calculator from installer from Community Sources.

IntelliScreen has been updated to version 1.08. This is the second update in the last 24 hours, that tries to fix some technical bugs that are still present with the information option from SMS Privacy, Weather and Mail when they are turn on in a certain way. IntelliScreen can be Install by adding the Intelliborn source in Installer.

BigBoss has made a post to help developers compile their applications simple and easy using their iPhone and Itouch

Toolchain is the name of the compiler used for all the apps you see today for the iPhone. Historically, it has been very difficult to setup and get working often requiring several days of work. iPhone developer Saurik has created a version of the toolchain that runs directly on the iPhone. I have taken his toolchain which consists of his ported GCC and odcctools, and added my headers from the Cygwin toolchain that I use to compile my apps. Together, this brings you a one-click compilation environment that runs directly from the iPhone!

Here are the steps to install and start compiling your apps:

1) Install Cydia
2) Install “iPhone 1.1.1 Headers”
3) Copy your apps source code to /tmp or such with ssh and type “make”.

Works for all apps for 1.0.2 - 1.1.4. Will be updated for 2.0 after July 11th.

A few weeks back we had an application in our repository called Betty CookBook some days ago we receive an email from the developer asking to remove the application from our repositore since he was working on a new application using the official SDK, this new application is going to be called Minute Cook,  that will be available in the App Store. The source code of the jiggy Betty Cookbook version was giving to one of his friends from OneFanhic. He has made minimal changes to the application and has chosen to hosted in the BigBoss Repository. CookBook can be found under the Productivity category in installer.

The iPhone-Dev Team are working on the upcoming release of PwnageTool 1.2.

One of new features will allow you to add Installer.app packages that are obtained from existing Installer repositories, you’ll be able to just add these into PwnageTool and the packages will be automatically added to the custom created .ipsw.

Also the iphone Dev Team has found a way to set the root partition size on restore. they are going to add this ability to PwnageTool 1.2. Customized root partition size will give us as much space as we want for Installe packages
