Ripdev has just released the Installer 4 Repository code. This will allow you to make your own repository for Installer 4. All you need is a server capable of running php5, and some apps to test it. The archive contains the code itself, documentation, and a few sample packages. Questions? Comments? Leave a comment here.

Hello, i’ve a problem, when i do a debug, i don’t have a good page …
Anyone know why my index.php not redirige to instructions.php ?
I am trying to create an own repository for uploading private stuff to the iPhone like eBooks etc.
I used your repositoy code - but when trying to run the regenerate.php I constantly get back the message: “Cannot add package ./packages/Pics/pictoore-1.zip because Install.plist cannot be extracted.”, also, this message is created as a downloadable file ‘regenerate.php’. Do you have any clue why this happens? I am running the code on IIS on Windows Vista and Windows Server 2003 with php 5.2.6 an zip.dll enabled in php.ini ….
Would be really great to get some hints…
Hello,
I have set up everything but i get error:
Cannot run external command C:\Program Files\WinRar\UnRAR.exe. Try editing ZIP_CMDLINE_PATH in config.inc.php.
i edited ZIP_CMDLINE_PATH because i’m on windows and i have no /usr/bin/unzip file.
could you help me?
I am “almost” there - I think, when I try to run the regenerate.php I get an error:
———-
Generating index for firmware 2.1.
Warning: DOMDocument::load() [function.DOMDocument-load]: Start tag expected, ‘<’ not found in /var/www/web67/html/repo/Info.plist, line: 1 in /var/www/web67/html/repo/regenerate.php on line 96
Fatal error: Call to a member function appendChild() on a non-object in /var/www/web67/html/repo/regenerate.php on line 100

Any clue to what I am doing wrong?
Can you host .ipa’s using this that auto install? And if so how do I setup the package for it?
