I got the new version of SwirlyMMS that works on 2.0 and 2.1 firmware (as well the iPhone 3G). It’s a beta version and maybe we will have the final throught the AppStore. SwirlyMMS it’s the only application that allows you to send and receive real MMS and it doesn’t use some internet service over WiFi as Flutter or something else. There are some screenshots and instructions about how to download and install it in your iPhone
Update: After our leaked version, SwirlySpace officially released that app in Cydia through the Ste Packaging Source
- Download this file: test.list
- SSH the test.list file into your iPhone in this root: “/etc/apt/sources.list.d/”
- Open Cydia and wait for a refresh of Sources.
- Now click on the “Changes” tab and there will be SwirlyMMS
.

I’ve been trying to use it with Fido and the settings doesn’t work. Any idea which one? it gives me an error like that : internal error

great app, but expensive for me. only MMS infrequently… will just delete after trial, thks anyway!!!
I did that’s why i was wondering if it could have been a problem with the software itself :-/
installed and tried to use although my license has expired , keep getting wrong mms settings must be because no vaild license is there

the license is the old one guys. so if you used the demo time ago … it is expired now
if you are new to this app on you iphone you will have 14 days free trial.
with a demo expired version it’s normal that it cannot send things

I got AT&T and it works.
i suggest to not purchrase a license now.
this is a leaked beta version. i think the final will be in appstore so if you purchrase it now you will have to pay again to get it from appstore. so do not do it. just try it in demo and enjoy ispazio
I doubt Apple will allow it on the appstore..imo
The license is tied to my iphone so I’m sure that Swirly team will honor it since I paid for it and not hacked it. The tittle of the article should read “Dowload the LEAKED new…”

I can confirm this does not work on AT&T USA… and most likely any other “official” carrier due to Apple’s restrictions. Continue to get the “HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden” message. Until there is an IMEI faking program written this will be a widespread problem.
For the person above… wait 48 hours or so and then report back. If AT&T senses an iphone IMEI it disables MMS even if you have an MMS plan on your account.
OUCH…little research and I believe you are right. I will report back in a couple of days. Maybe it’s working for me since AT&T sees my device as my old Razr.
The “trick” to getting it to work is put your SIM in your razor (or any other non-iphone) for a couple days and let the system “reset” then you can put it back in your iPhone for a couple days…. etc etc. This sucks big time but AT&T’s system is smart. Even in my case where I have a Sumsung IMEI tagged on my acount, the system registers my iPhone IMEI with tower communication.
ahhh that would explain why it’s not working for me i’m getting that same forbidden /network error.

I’m trying to test a ridiculous combination of settings but it’s tough b/c my status bar doesn’t show the “m” where it used to be on the old version. It shows it in your pics above… any ideas?
Just not gonna work guys. I’ve tried 8 or 10 combinations of settings I’ve found and either get a failed to connect to proxy or the Forbidden message. GRR

It does function in denmark on a sim belonging to the official carrier here. So it might seem that it is only regarding to AT&T (perhaps)

I’ve added the test.list and got it in cydia but i don’t see swirly anywhere…. have they removed/moved it?! Anyone have a mirror?
hi, as DannyV did, I did also I have downloaded the file (test.list) but it’s not showing anywhere in cydia and I can refresh 100 time with no resolt. Any idea??

I heard about the leak on swirlyspace.com so chances are the devs probably pulled it. Might have to wait till the final release now.
They romoved the source so this doesnt work anymore.
But there is other ways of doing this. Search and you will find.. thihi

Ive been missing MMS on my iPhone, so I bought it!
Im using AIS, the Thailand mobile-company, and once I got the settings right, as I said, just perfect!
