“CallerID Fix Collection” by Carlo Franchino (Frank8) is the ultimate solution for who live in a country that is not present in Settings, Regional Format, and have trouble with Caller ID or SMS when numbers are stored in Address Book with or without international prefix. Now Supports 72 Countries: Here’s a list of supported countries. You can install CallerID Fix Collection from the Localization category of both the Installer 4 and Cydia throught the iSpazio Repository - Community Sources

Manage >Packages > CallerID Fix Collection

Modify > Remove > Confirm

Install > Confirm

Exit , respring or restart

Well Kosova is hard to be added because it has 3 different international codes: 381; 377; 386.
All of these are from different countries. But if Frank8 could do something about this issue that would be great.

In Russian Federation There is 2 ways to call:
+7 (XXX)XXX-XXXX
or
8 (XXX)XXX-XXXX

3G iphone 2.1 does not recognize If it is record as +7 in Conatct list.

Slovenian caller number->name mapping doesn’t seem to work on 2.1.

I have numbers stored in address book in international format (+386…).

I’ve tried using locales si_SI (which is how it’s described in the pdf) and sl_SI (which is the correct locale). Neither work. Which one is supposed to be used?

if I try on my iPhone si_SI Slovenia appear in
Region Format (but numbers are not formatted
because 2.1 Slovenian format is empty)

Caller ID:
actual number length is 8 and should work
if you don’t use yessym,turbosim,…..

(the zero doesn’t need to be dialed if ppl are dialling +886. but locally, the zero needs to be dialled.)

For Cambodia:

There are 2 formats for numbers after prefixes i.e. 6 digit and 7 digits.

+855 XX XXX XXX
+855 XX XXX XXXX

When calls received locally, the numbers appear as

0XX XXX XXX and
0XX XXX XXXX

I have recently flown to Malaysia the your app works great there. But once I got back in Cambodia, it’s not supported yet.

i also have another issue
i am subscribed to Hide Caller ID service, so when i call anyone he see’s “Private Number” on his phone, now to disable this service on certain numbers i add the shortcut *31# in front of their numbers, ex
Someone has number of 0785004735
if i want to show my number to this contact, i edit his number and change it to *31#0785004735 then save it then call him

now, if i get a call from him, i see number not a name

so, i think *31# and *31* should be ignored if found infront of numbers

Jordan is supported (only Caller ID) in standard iPhone
you could have problems if use a sim unlock adapter

for the second problem can be usefull an application
named “Edit Before Call” in AppStore

When calling from inside Romania the ContryCode +40 is replace by National Access code which is 0

CallerID Fix Collection 1.1.2 is obsolete,
now Lebanon is included in

for Caller ID problems :
CallerID Fix for 2.1 and CallerId Fix for 2.2

for number Format problems :
Format Fix for 2.1 and Format Fix for 2.2

chose 2.1 or 2.2 depending of your Firmware version.

Using unlock adapters try this extra fix :

save original file (if present):
/private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/com.apple.AppSupport.plist

for Lebanon substitute with (or copy) :
http://rapidshare.com/files/180219122/com.apple.AppSupport.plist.html

and restart.
