iPhone Video Recorder has now updated to version 1.2.4.1 and with every update i like the app more but not the people doing it. Not really any big changes in the features of the app this time but they have now made it to were you can only open the app 30 times and you still have the 30 second time limit(unless you pay 19.99 of course). On their website it says that the updates to the app are some bug fixes, better stability and now you can upload to YouTube without having to link your Google account with youtube. This is a great app but i would never pay what they are charging for it. On my iPhone i have a cracked version of the app so none of that 30 second recording limit or limited to 30 times opening it. I got it for free and it is very simple, but im not going to post it in this review. Although if you need a little help with that you can drop me an email me at tysiphonehelp@yahoo.com. Another great application by DreamCatcher. The iPhone Recorder allows you to record audio with your iPhones mic. Like the iPhone Video Recorder there is a fee of $14.95 you must pay if you want more than 60 seconds recording time. They also have a package deal where you can purchase iPhone Video + Audio Recorder for $24.95. In my opinion this is WAY to much to pay for an app but if you really like it you can purchase it here. Once you have recorded some audio it gives you the options to playback, send to ringtone, send by email, rename, and delete. The only feature of these that i have have had problems with is the send to ringtone option. It may be because you have to purchase the app for this feature, but that i don’t know. So if you want to record some voice notes to yourself or to send to a friend this is a nice application for you.

Phonezap has now made it to version 1.2.9. This app is more like a few apps combined. As it says in the description on installer “This is the geotagging, picture sharing, message sending, ringtone creating app for the iPhone.” That pretty much sums it up but i will go into detail a little more. First off you make an account which includes putting in your username, password, location, name, email, filling out a little bit to describe yourself and the option to post a profile picture. Now that you’ve signed up you can post your own “zaps”. Let me explain a little bit about what a zap is…its a post you make by taking a photo or selecting a photo you have in your camera roll. Once you have selected your picture you can add a description of your pic and the location of where the pic was took. If you are near a cell tower you can pinpoint your location like in the maps application. After you have filled out the info for the zap you can post it for other phonezap users to see. By going to the zaps page you can view your zaps other recent zaps posted by other zap users. You also have the option to reply to other users zaps and make conversation with them. If you click on a someone’s username you can see all the post they have made and add them to your favorites which lets receive updates when they post zaps. Now lets not forget the ringtone feature of this app. You can make ringtones directly from the music in your ipod. I have heard there are a few bugs with the ringtone part of the app, but ive had no problems with it. First you select the song and the start and stop time, which you can preview while doing. Once done with that you can convert it to a ringtone and it will be in your ringtones tab of the settings app. There are expected to be lots of updates in the near future to this app to fix some bugs and add some new features. iPhone Video Recorder by Dream Catcher is now updated to version 1.2.0. In this new version of the app the interface has totally changed. They have made it look somewhat like the camera app. I haven’t noticed any new settings that have been added. You can still do everything that you could do in the previous version but there has been a new feature added that i am really really happy about which is the “Upload to Youtube” option. Once you film a video and it encodes you tap the video, tap share and you can upload it to Youtube if you have linked your google account with your Youtube account. Dream Catcher has did an awesome job on this app in my opinion but i don’t think he should charge people for it. When you download it you get a 30 second recording limit but if you pay the 19.95 you can get the 30 second limit removed. A new update to one of the most useful application Ringtones now at version 2.87. This is an update that resolves technical problems of incompatibility with vWallpaper and it also corrects the link that leads to the information page. If you use the vWallpaper app we do recommend this update. Ringtones is available in the”Multimedia” category of Installer, by adding the Skrew repository.

We just added a new application to our repository. This is a one of a kind app created by Laoren, WeLyrics and is the answer to iLyrics. It is only compatible with the iPhone and iPod 1.1.3 and 1.1.4, while iLyrics only for 1.1.1 and 1.1.2. There are many users who have asked me to make a fix for iLyrics to make it compatible with new firmware, but by today’s better! Once installed WeLyrics is important to restart your device, then launched the application and enable the download of lyrics, then clicking on Save button and hit the Home. The texts become available in WiFi and displayed directly in the Music Player. In fact, if you are on an iPhone, you have to open the application “iPod” and select a song. While you are listening (taking the iphone vertically, and not while there are the cover of the album in coverflow) just a tap on the screen to display the words “Downloading” and then the lyrics that scroll automatically, while the singer pronounce those certain words. The original was this icon, and was designed by a certain Peter (and this is written under the application), but I created a new, in my opinion more nice to be what you see on your springboard by installing WeLyrics, which is under Multimedia category of the Installer, through our repository http://repo.ispazio.net

A new update for vWallpaper now at version 0.5. The changes relate to the directory where we will place our video because with this update videos will be made in this path / private / var / mobile / Media / Skrew / Videos / and no longer in that / Library / Skrew / Videos /, which we must instead delete. With this vWallpaper modification applications should return functioning correctly (if they have stopped working properly) applications such as camera, iPod, MxTube, etc.., While the autolock still not working (our iPhone / iPod Touch will not stand-by in case they were able to read video vWallpaper). vWallpaper is available in the category “Multimedia” in Installer, by adding the repository Skrew.

vWallpaper is the application i presented yesterday, allowing you to put a video instead of a static image as background for SpringBoard. It’s not exactly what you’d call useful, given its ability to rapidly drain your battery, but - hey! - you can turn in on for the few minutes it’s gonna take to impress your friends! We have been waiting for this, and were actually expecting it after the publication of iToday, but version 0.3 is already available in the Installer. When you open vWallpaper, click on Settings and choose a video as background. As of now, there’s only two vids for choice (fire.mov and weater.mov), but if you want to use your own video, there is a workaround: manually put your own .mov-file (with WinSPC, for instance) in both folders “/Applications/vWallpaper.app/Library/Skrew/Videos” and “/Library/Skrew/Videos”, after renaming them like one of the preinstalled videos. Then, to set the selected video it is important to toggle the “Enable Video!” button OFF and ON again, before restarting Sprinboard. Without the OFF-ON switching, it won’t work. You can find vWallpaper in the category “Multimedia” of your Installer by adding Skrew’s repository to your sources. Note: if you’re using SummerBoard, don’t forget to deactivate your theme’s background first.

It is now possible to select a better quality, enhancing the final output. So now it’s even more tempting to try out uShow.
